Expert Care in a Sterile, Purpose-Built Theatre
At Aldeburgh Vets, all surgical procedures are carried out in our dedicated sterile operating theatre, completely separate from non-sterile procedures to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Our experienced veterinary team, Brian and Jess, perform a wide range of routine and complex surgeries in-house. For more advanced procedures, we partner with a visiting specialist surgeon, allowing us to offer referral-level surgery right here at the clinic—minimizing the need for travel and hospital stays at distant referral centers.
Procedures We Offer
In addition to routine neutering, we’re able to perform:
Caesarean sections
Lump and tumour removals
TPLO surgery (for cruciate ligament ruptures)
BOAS corrective surgery (for brachycephalic breeds like French and English Bulldogs)
Luxating patella repair
Some fracture repairs
Intestinal foreign body removal
Other abdominal surgeries
Anal gland removal
⚠️ Note: We do not currently perform spinal surgeries due to the extended post-operative hospitalisation typically required.
